The vast majority of candidates do NOT tell the truth. They say whatever they think will get them elected.
At this moment I know of only one politician that tells the truth regardless of the outcome. To him it’s a matter of integrity and principle. That man is Allen West! -

This debate should thin out the candidate list really quickly! If it does not, then the people need to do it for them!

Tom … I couldn’t agree with you more! Every single person to whom I’ve introduced Allen West as a potential Presidential candidate has been in AWE of this man. He is far more than a ‘politician’ … he is a Patriot, a Hero and a true STATESMAN. Many, like myself, KNOW that Obama MUST be [...]

I am greatly disappointed that, among your list of those you proposed to replace Obama in 2012, you omitted Allen West. West is THE ONLY POSSIBLE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE who can beat Obama. NO white candidate can stop Obama from again getting a free pass from black voters. McCain wasn’t able to get even 2% of [...]

A list of candidates that does not include Palin?
Is this a sick joke (or is an agenda showing)?Hi Fred, sick joke, not the best choice of words. If you are endorsing Palin this site allows you promote her we also provide a blog in your profile so u can add videos and promote her views. Cb
Cheri:
Thanks for the responses.
Yes, I am promoting Palin. But, no, I do not chose to do it in this forum.
My point is that the failure to include her name on the list ”Presidential Candidates 2012” gives a strong suggestion that the bias of this site is a) left of center and/or b) part of the stop Palin movement.
I hope that I am wrong but, at the moment, her omission does send a message as to the objectives of the authors/sponsors of this forem.
Fred Campbell
Fred, is Palin a 2012 president candidates? If so please advise. Cb

People really need to start looking outside the democrat and republican parties… The Constitution Party is a great party and on this site, you all should check it out.. We will be running a candidate for president as well.

More Than a Third of Americans Doubt Obama Believes in U.S. ’Exceptionalism’
While 80 percent of Americans think that America ”has a unique character that makes it the greatest country in the world,” more than a third say President Obama does not share that belief, according to a USA Today/Gallup poll conducted Dec. 10-12.
Gallup’s poll on the concept often referred to as ”U.S. exceptionalism” says that Americans rank Obama significantly below three other modern presidents in terms of whether Obama subscribes to the idea.
Fifty-eight percent of those surveyed believe he does regard America as exceptional while 37 percent say he doesn’t. Three-quarters of Americans or more say that Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush believed in U.S. exceptionalism.
Unsurprisingly, Republicans do not think Obama believes in the concept by a 61 percent to 34 percent margin. Independents believe he does by a 57 percent to 38 percent margin, as do 83 percent of Democrats.
”Given that Americans already believe that the U.S. is exceptional and that its status as the greatest nation in the world is at risk, Republican election candidates’ political challenges would be to convince voters that Obama’s policies and actions on the world stage are to blame, and that he does not share their values on this issue,” Gallup said. -

The Obama Administration: Promises Made, Promises Kept
In the weeks following Republican gains in Congress the left has made much ado about something — just what that something is, though, is up for interpretation. Blaming the Obama Administration for everything from triangulation to compromise to what OpenLeft blogger Chris Bowers asked recently: ”Isn’t there ever a point when we can get an actual Democratic administration?”
Well, if you were measuring the Obama Administration on the success and implementation of campaign promises I think it would be safe to say we found the ”actual Democratic administration.” Politifact.com, a Pulitzer Prize-winning project of the St. Petersburg Times, has complied a list of over 500 promises made by Obama during the campaign. To date, they have found that the Obama Administration has either completed or is in the process of completing nearly 80 percent of the campaign promises…not bad for what some liberals are considering the lost Democratic administration.
In fact, Obama’s successes have touched on enough facets to make any voting bloc proud, from health care to taxes to foreign policy and energy. In the first two years of his administration, Obama has required insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions and closed the Medicare ”doughnut hole,” fully funded the Veterans Administration, directed military leaders to end the war in Iraq, ended Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, doubled federal spending on clean fuels and provided tax breaks for everything from education to health care.
