I think Obama should be re-elected. To me he has definitely produced results while in office. He genuinely cares about everyone being being given opportunity to make a better living. Seems like to me all the republicans care about is making sure the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. Meanwhile the middle-class has to pay higher taxes than the rich. That is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Obama is by no means perfect, but at least he has a heart that cares for everyone equally. He’s strategizing to reduce the debt America has. Every president that has been in office has not made all the right decisions. I find it interesting that now everyone wants to really blast Obama like he is the cause for all of Americas debt.

He beat an old RINO in 2008,
The Blue States though he was really great,
The other ticket couldn’t turn a tide that size,
With a fake collapse as the October surprise.
The press neglected to pursue his golems
As his voice reverberated off those fake Greek columns.
It is true he is historic, if pigment is your measure.
But content of character is what people treasure.
So let’s take a look at for what he stands,
Let’s take the measure of this man.
It’s been three long years since his electoral creation
How have Hope and Change policies affected the nation?
Cash for Clunkers was a clunker itself.
He seems to get his jollies redistributing wealth.
He stole GM for the Unions, took Chrysler by FIAT,
And the Dealerships he closed were just Republican *#^)!
We haven’t had a budget in 1000 days.
But he’s increased our debt in 1000 new ways.
He’s deficit spending us into the breach.
He’s grounded NASA for some Muslim outreach.
He sent the bust of Churchill back to the UK.
He leaves all our alliances in disarray.
The Brotherhood leads Egypt, there are tanks in Hom,
Iran threatens Hormuz, and inches closer to ‘the bomb.’
He isolates Israel, the region’s lone democracy.
While the mullahs say, aloud, push the buggers out to sea.
He won’t drill baby drill. He won’t build a pipeline.
So each gallon of gas will be a $5 fine.
Solyndra went south. Evergreen went blue.
The canaries in our coal mines all went offshore, too.
The unemployment numbers he continues to fudge
Because statistics can fool ‘em, and the U-6 won’t budge.
He makes non-recess appointments for consumer protection,
When he knows that ethics will challenge his selection.
Death Panels are real. He told all our grannies: “Take a pill!”
While he rammed Obamacare through on Capital Hill.
Nobody wants it. It’s an abomination.
    The masterpiece of his administration.
Should he be reelected? Well, the way that he’s feted,
If he isn’t elected…he’ll be coronated.

Why don’t you make up one, since you seem to have drunk so much of the Kool-Aid from 2006. All of the things you left-wingers complained about Bush and the GOP Congress doing was done three-fold by Obama, Pelosi and Reid, but you suddenly get amnesia and start making up all kinds of excuses. That’s why you have NO credibility! If you truly believed that what Bush and the GOP did was bad, you’d hold your own accountable. BUt the truth is that you really don’t care so long as your own party is doing it – it’s almost like political racism…pathetic!

We had not had a budget in 1020 days, and the one he had submitted last year was rejected on a BIPARTISAN vote of 97-0. And who can forget the shenanigans of the Occupy movement?

                  Aaron,
There was absolutely nothing positive about the “Occupy Movement”, nothing. For the most part it was an orchestrated event (rather events) that were managed and funded by extreme leftist groups such as Media Matters (one of George Sorors main organizations). Many of the Occupy locations were select and managed by Mr. Van Jones himself. What you saw was not a spontaneous gathering of people who have been truly hurt by the evils of Wall Street but rather a bunch of college drop outs, ex-hippies, unhappy union thugs and finally joined by a bunch of homeless people and drug addicts looking to take advantage of the free food and easy crime potential. We saw hundreds of scenes of young people marching and chanting slogans that didn’t make any reasonable sense what so ever only to have their mad marching interrupted by their iPhones going off or a sudden urge to occupy the local Star Bucks to watch themselves on their iPad, which is generated by the largest Wall Street for profit companies in the USA with totally Japanese made components. We saw public defecation, open drug use and a multitude of rapes and other crimes, all supported by the Obama Administration because it distracted from the current anti-American on goings of our President. Finally even all of the most liberal mayors in our country called a halt to the situation. These demonstrations cost the citizens of the cities affected hundreds of millions of dollars, dollars that they cannot afford.

Now, you say “focus of the positives”, name one…..

The Occupy Movement destroyed one of our best local parks in Los Angeles, which will now cost over $300K to repair. We’re already operating in a deficit, so now we’ll have to tell more residents who rely on critical services that they won’t have them available. Thanks, Occupy Movement! Next time stay in your parents’ basements where you can do no more harm!

Aaron, I really dislike seeing someone with obvious intelligence (yourself) being duped so badly. If you believe Obamacare is brilliant, you really do have some homework to do. Look at how ’successful’ socialized medicine is in Britain, for example. In fact, look at the entire last century and see what a failure socialism is (eventually) wherever it is tried. Take a look at Greece now. Unfortunately, you’re listening to the wrong mentors. Socialism CAN’T work because it flies in the face of the reality of human existence. And anyone who believes otherwise is fooling themselves. Further, Keynesian economics can’t work either. Read some Milton Friedman or Thomas Sowell or Friedrick von Hayek. Free Markets and Free People are what has proven successful…lead by the United States of America for the past 200-plus years. Almost everything else over the course of human history has been a lesson in human misery caused by one form of tyranny or another. I really do wish you and your the best. But I also know from experience that the one most interested in your best is YOU. Don’t rely on others. Go make it happen. YOU have the ability. The fact that you’re here arguing (even the wrong way) shows you have the drive. Godspeed! (Or Gaiaspeed, or Nothingspeed, or whatever, if you happen to believe in something else…or nothing else.)

There is a huger difference between Obama and Clinton. Clinton tried his healthcare plan during his first term and got bluggened by the populas. He tried a number of other liberal policies that also failed to pass. Towards his thrid year, having to work with a Republican House and Senate, he legacy was dieing before his eyes and that was his whole life. He moved to the middle and actually turned out to be a pretty good president overall. His second term was all about building his library and he accomplished furtually nothing.

Ms Windy, where do you gals get these questions? Law firms running our country? I don’t think so and it isn’t big banks or Wall Street either. If you really want to dig deep you’ll find out that there are forces outside of the boarders of our country that have far more impact on what is done to manipulate our policies and politicians than and lawyer or court could pull off. Most of these forces come in the form of Treaties and International agreements. A small example is the International Small Arms Treaty. If passed, as Hillary Clinton wants, and ratified by our congress you’ll see the second amendment go into the trash can. The International Childrens Rights Treaty is another, this will strip the rights of parents and give those rights to the government. And by the way, for those who think there is a Progessive or Socialist movement in American, their wrong, there is a Marxist movement. Marxisum comes before Socialism.

Well here is my opinion. I don’t think that Obama should be re-elected. here are a few reasons why:
    1. He really has not fixed anything yet.
    2. He keeps blaming President Bush 4 years later for the mess we are in.
    3. He really can’t talk to the people without his teleprompter which we are not even sure that is what he intends to say. (meaning someone else has written what he is supposed to say like a puppet.)
    4. I don’t agree with the rich having to pay for the poor. I am sorry but 99 weeks of unemployment is ridiculous. If I was on unemployment why would i look for a job when unemployment has better income security than actually getting a job. It just makes people more lazy.
    5. Obama is like the Robin Hood of the present. Lets give all of everyone’s hard earned tax dollars so they can use it to buy crack and 40oz of Old English and chill at home playing xbox all day.
    6. He only gave the companies a bailout that paid huge contributions to his campaign. Look at Solindra. That’s is just the ones that we know about. Its time that there should be some rules that if a cooperation gives money to a candidate that they should not get special treatment and bailouts because of that.
    7. His religious beliefs.
    8. He is trying to cut down military spending and in fact that will put more Americans out of work and pose a national security threat to the USA.
    9. He is weak with our military. He is not showing any balls in all of the current conflicts around the world which makes us look weak.
    10. Name one good thing that he has done for our country. Our economy is in shambles, the dollar is dropping in value and I believe he just has no clue what he is doing.

That is just my opinion but feel free to check the facts. Obama is looking for votes from all of the people he has given hand outs too. I work for a living and am very upset how this administration is giving away our tax dollars. More to come but please don’t take this to heart. This is my opinion but there are many facts behind this.

    Absolutely not!

For a man who is said the be the most intelligent president in history he has made so many blunders that America’s Funniest Home Videos could make an entire serious on just his first two years.

Our country needs a leader, a respected leader. We need someone who can bring people together and not divide them, someone who can bring world leaders together for the good of mankind and still let these countries to decide which type of government they want to have. We need a leader that can shake hands with our allies and stand firm against our enemies.

Lastly, we need a President that is willing to abide by the constitution regardless of his own ideas on the rule of law.

    Well, let’s see:

Obama promised the most transparent administration in history. That didn’t happen.

Obama promised that “all” legislation before congress would be published on the intranet for at least 72 hours prior to being voted on. That didn’t happen.

Obama had his cronies, Reid and Pelosi, a ram through Obama care that 78% of Americans don’t want and then proceed to give every major labor union in the US a waiver.

His Justice Department is suing states for enforcing laws that the federal government refusing to enforce.

Obama has instructed his Justice Department to choose which laws they deem appropriate and then not enforce the rest

Obama’s EPA has been printing out new regulations by the 1000’s to discourage any form of energy development that is not in his “green energy” plan. Has lost billions of dollars of tax payer money to green energy firms that they knew had an extremely high chance to fail but accepted millions in contributions from heads of these same firms’ days before granting loans to them.

Obama and his radical left pushed through over 700 billion dollars in a stimulus aid, promising to bring the unemployment rate below 8% by August of 2009, giving help for home owners who were upside down on their homes and facing bankruptcy, promised shovel ready jobs and bringing stability to the economy and bring us out of the recession. INSTEAD WE GOT BAILOUTS OF THE BIG BANKS, UNEMPLOYMENT AT OVER 10%,THE FIRST EVER GOVERNMENT TAKE OVER OF A PRIVATE COMPANY LEAVING PRIVATE SHARE HOLDERS UNPROTECTED WHILE PAYING OUT COMPENSATION TO UNIONS SHARE HOLDERS, FOUND JOBS NOT SO SHOVEL READY, GAVE NO AID TO AMERICAN HOME OWNERS, ACCUMULATED 5.4 TRILLION DOLLARS IN NEW DEBT, PRINTED MONEY TO COVER QE2, APPOINTED ZCARS TO OVER SEE MAJOR PRIVATE COMPANIES IN THE US, HIRED CHINESES CONTRACTORS AND WORKERS TO BUILD NEW ROADS AND BRIDGES IN THE UNITED STATES, KILLED THE LARGEST JOBS BILL IN THE PAST 3 YEARS, SINCE LOSING CONTROL OF THE HOUSE AND SENATE HAS BEEN TOTAL ABSENT DURING DEBT DEBATES AND BUDGET HEARINGS, HAS NOT PASSED A BUDGET IN 1000 DAY (A CONSTITUTIONALLY REQUIRED ACTION) AND HAS SPENT THE LAST 3 MONTHS ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL INSTEAD ON IN WASHINGTON LEADING THE COUNTRY. I could go on and on…..

During the last Presidential election he pulled 97% of black voters but because he has done nothing to help the plight of minorities, especially in the inner cities, he now is looking at closer to 70%, he garnered 47% of the youth vote and is facing approximately 27% and his national approval rating is at a historical low of 43% meaning 57% disapproval rating.

So, you tell me, who’s going to vote for this guy?

Unless the GOP commits a major, major blunder, or the rise of a Third Party Candidate, I don’t believe there is anyway Obama can win. PH

No Obama should not be re-elected! I also am amazed at how many people think just replacing Obama will reverse the madness. It won’t! Having a majority in Congress and the Senate with Tea party conservatives is what is most important. With that a President will be led by the people, not to mention Obama would have been gone long ago in that scenaro!! We the people had landslide victories in November 2010, electing some Tea party conservative people in local, state and national elections, but they are still grossly outnumbered so Congress has continued to refuse to pass any meaningful financial restrictions upon itself to give up their unlimited power to borrow and spend, as they have done since the creation of the Federal Reserve. I do not see how it is possible to save the Republic without a majority of Tea party conservatives in Congress and the Senate.

To me Newt has and continues to do the best in the debates. Does that mean if he is elected he can or will will fix America? Not in my opinion! I can’t help but be reminded of all the talk and promises we heard for the elections in Nov 2010, handing the House over to the GOP, remember the pledge? One of the many things it swore to stop was the spending, but the Federal Government did what it does every election cycle, increase the size and reach of the Federal Government. So what will elections accomplish different this time? Nothing as long as we continue with this one party system presented as 2. Obama now ready to take another 1.2 trillion, and he would never be strong in this position today to raise the national debt AGAIN if Boehner and company had not DIRECTLY helped Obama to do it! Now they have this smokescreen “resolution of disapproval’ to try and pardon themselves. Unless the majority of Congress and the Senate are cleaned out, it won’t really matter who the next president is because without that change this Presidential election will at best create the illusion of change while maintaining this insane process of RAPID fiscal & social regression. The ruling class power players know and count on it, who accept/promote Romney as plan B if the people vote out Obama. So they love to hear growing numbers say “anybody but Obama” as they still win! The days of me being encouraged from these debates is long over!

Thanks, and I would consider it, but I am living in Toronto for now, although I would enjoy and get satisfaction out of being the voice of the people in the precinct, but being a communication link between the kind of corrupt elected officials that control this political climate, I am sure would drive me insane. I have never played well with the disposition of politicians or lawyers. I think for now I will stick with waking up as many citizens as I can!

Precinct Committeepeople are agents of accountability. My personal philisophy regarding politicians has always been that they should be congratulated for winning an election, then immediately booked, handcuffed, and preemptively incarcerated. Being a Committeeperson gives you a chance to keep a close eye on them. Thanks for what you’re doing from north of the border.

Obama should DEFINITELY be reelected and those who don’t think so need to put the republican kool-aid DOWN. Obama still has a mess to clean up and needs four more years, possibly longer to get it cleaned up. Let’s keep him in office!!!
